Echo Is Falling ("the Game") is a 3D physics-based puzzle and platform mobile game. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you play the Game or visit our website.
When you play the Game, we may collect gameplay data such as level progress, scores, game mode preferences, and in-game currency balances. This data is used to provide core game functionality and improve the experience.
In multiplayer modes (Racing), the Game connects to dedicated game servers for matchmaking and gameplay sessions. During multiplayer sessions, movement data is transmitted using a client-authoritative model with server validation to ensure fair play. Movement data is not stored. Match records, such as who took part and their results, are kept with your online account.
Online features (multiplayer, in-game currency and purchases) use an account that the Game creates for you. It is linked to an identifier for your device and holds your display name, in-game currency balance, owned content and match records. No email address or real name is required.
We may collect basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and screen resolution for compatibility and performance optimization purposes.
We may use analytics tools to collect anonymized usage data, including session duration, game mode selection, and crash reports. This helps us understand how the Game is used and identify issues.
Online account and match data is stored in the European Union. Our application and game servers run in France, and our database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. This means your data is stored and processed outside Quebec and Canada. Local game data stays on your device.
The Game offers in-app purchases for coin packs and a "No Ads" mode. All payment processing is handled by the platform's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). We do not collect or store any payment or financial information directly.
The Game does not currently display any advertisements. If advertising is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly, and any ad platform used will be disclosed here.
The Game is distributed through itch.io and may be available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Each platform has its own privacy policy governing data they collect. We also maintain a community on Discord, which is subject to Discord's own privacy policy.
The Game is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
Offline gameplay data is stored locally on your device. Online account and match data is kept while your account exists; contact us to have it deleted. Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months. You can delete your local game data at any time by uninstalling the Game or clearing its data through your device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
